It is barely one month since the running mates for the top presidential candidates we unveiled, since then their have been alot of speculations about william Ruto's Runningmate, Rigathi Gachagua. Many kenyans have diverse opinions on why Deputy president should have pick someone else apart from Rigathi Gachagua as the preffered candidate for the position of running mate, Others are saying that Gachagua is a weak choice, but politics is a combination of many things that must work together for a presidential candidate to win the election. This incude resourses, convincing power and the ability to mobilise people attend rallies which in my opinion i believe that Rigathi has them all.

Despite all the spectulations, Rigathi has impacted dp with the following;

1.Resourses

For a presidential candidate, it need about 6 billion to fund the campaign, to Ruto Gachagua is a business tycoon

2. Mobilising ground

According IEBC mt. Kenya region where Rigathi hails from has majority of the vote, selection of Rigathi has the Running mate was a good choice since he has high influence in the region

3.Simplified campaigns

After his appointment Rigathi has been able to do atleast 5 rallies a day which Ruto has been able to do atleast 5 also where they campaign in differnt parts a good example is that william Ruto was in coast yesterday while RIgathi was in nyeri for votes hunting mission
