While speaking to the media today, William Ruto, a close ally of the Deputy President, indicated that they were dubious of Malala's feelings on Musalia Mudavadi's position in Ruto's government if Kenya Kwanza won the August election.
According to the MP from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), Malala was being pushy in his demand that Mudavadi be selected Ruto's running mate.
Washiali further warned the ANC legislator not to make any additional demands on the topic, claiming that the principles were capable of selecting the correct lineup to challenge former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
He went on to say that they will not allow the alliance to be divided, noting that they would rather have a part of government than lose the elections on August 9.
