According to news hitting the air waves just now, the kenyan High Court has nullified a law where presidential aspirant were required to produce identity cards copies from their supporters.
The IEBC used this law to kick out, Mwangi wa Iria, And several other presidential aspirants from the race.
According to sources the case was tabled bybThirdway Alliance Kenya party who won a case against IEBCKenya requirement by Presidential candidates to present copy of IDs to the commission for clearance.
Regulation 18 has been quashed by court.
This interesting development now means that the IEBC will have to revisit its previous ruling.
Akuru Aukot has now gone futher filing a case trying to stop the printing of ballot papers.
"We call for the immediate resignation of WChebukati and also demand printing of presidential ballot papers be shelved until a proper above board nomination is carried out.
