Kirinyaga Women Rep Sends a Strong Message To Governor Anne Waiguru After Hints of Joining UDA Camp

With the presidential election in 2022 just around the corner, the Mt Kenya region has become a political battleground for presidential candidates who have been camping there in an attempt to persuade the approximately six million people to back their aspirations.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Deputy President William Ruto, and Amani National Congress (ANC) Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi are among those who have camped in the vote-rich province.

As things are, Ruto has a sizable following in the region, but Raila Odinga has also made inroads in what is widely seen as President Uhuru Kenyatta's political backyard.

Different politicians are looking for betterment and endorsement from different regions. Political bigwigs also are joining different alliance to increase their chances of getting into power next year. Yesterday, Kirinyaga Governor, Honourable Anne Waiguru hints at joining DP Ruto's Camp ahead of next year's elections.

Today, Kirinyaga Woman Rep and 2022 gubernatorial aspirant Wangui Ngirici has welcomed Governor Waiguru to UDA asking her to prepare for a contest for the party's ticket.

"Why has she been jittery? In UDA you are either inside or outside the party," she says
