"You'll Insult Each Other Out Here While Ruto, Raila Are Having Tea" Expert Comment on Raila Rallies

Governance Expert Alex Mwathi has called upon Kenyans, and more so those who will be attending the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance rallies at Kamukunji and Jacaranda Grounds to be peaceful and orderly.

In his interview with TV 47 on Wednesday morning, Mwathi said that there was nothing crucial to make the said rallies turn out to be of chaos and insults, adding that the Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, and who will be leading the rallies is a good friend to the president William Ruto.

In his remarks, Mwathi argued that such rallies one does not tell people what he or she is going to do, but what the masses what to hear, and this in most cases is propaganda.

"These rallies are about propaganda, and seducing the masses, you do not necessarily say what you are going to do but you tell them what they want to hear, and that is the propaganda bit."

"We do not have enemies in politics, people are all friends. President Ruto and Honourable Raila are very good friends, and I suspect that they go have tea together because Ruto does not take alcohol. I also suspect that in the evening they take their phones and call each other while you fellows are out here insulting and shouting at each other. The two are political cousins, and in fact political brothers."
