With barely 205 days left to the country's third General Elections under the 2010 constitution, president Uhuru Kenyatta who is doing the last lap of his ten-year tenure has started readying self to exit the political stage.
Before folding his mats, Jomo's son is keen to paralyze William Ruto's presidential course. To actualize his scheme, Kenyatta II is staking on Raila Odinga who is a political operative with unparalleled means.
Despite of Uhuru's leaning towards ODM leader, Ruto has time and again expressed his optimism that he will beat Jakom hands down but the latter has urged him (Samoei) to tame his expectations for Jomo's son has a grand scheme to jeopardize Ruto's course.
Speaking on January 14, the veteran disclosed that Jubilee party leader is looking forward to raise a behemoth political machine to counter Ruto wave, his would-be team will comprise of Raila Odinga and other like-minded leaders.
Should the aforesaid strategy take it's expected form, Ruto's team will face a contingent of Uhuru-Raila led team and since no man stands alone, chances of the latter team overshadowing Ruto's army are high and that way, Samoei's Statehouse-bound entourage will be impounded. Will this come to pass? Time will tell.
