Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has come out to suggest a new cabinet secretary for trade to president William Ruto. Taking to his twitter page on Sunday Nasir asked Ruto to appoint Mr. @MihrThakar as a member of the trade corporation since he is very skilled in business. The lawyer praised Mr. Thakar by saying that he has weird views on trade and is among the few Asians in the country who are twitter active.
"I petition H. E @WilliamsRuto to appoint to one of Boards of state corporations dealing in trade/business/fianace Mr. @MihrThakar. This man from Mombasa has some good ideas and weird views and is one of the few Kenyan Asians who is a true Twitter brawler!" Ahmednasir said.
His remarks come a short time after he faulted the trade cabinet secretary Moses Kuria for taking an action against the China Square and ordering for it closure. Nasir argued that Kuria was being a racist which is wrong. He defended the Chinese trader by saying that Kenya is open for business to anyone interested and Mr. Lei Cheng should not be excluded.
"Our policies should not have "a racist" undertone. CS @HonMoses_Kuria is obviously wrong in his onslaught against Mr. Lei Cheng of China Square. "Kenya is open for business" is Kuria's mantra, yet he is at war with Cheng for succeeding in his business model (selling cheapest)." Nasir said.
