On Wednesday evening the wife of Mugithi crooner Samidoh, Edday Nderitu announced publicly that she had thrown her support behind politician Julie Kabogo for the Nairobi Senatorial bid in the upcoming 2022 General Elections.

This was via her Instagram account where she posted photos of them together, and also disclosed that she will be vying for the seat via Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria's Chama Cha Kazi Party.
"My Senator (Nairobi senator 2022) #chamachakazi#mbokanadoo#[email protected]_kabogo" she wrote.
The post quickly rose eyebrows because Julie Kabogo is actually a rival for lawyer cum politician Karen Nyamu, who is also eyeing for the same seat albeit via the United Democratic Alliance Party (UDA).
Here are some of the reactions from netizens.
The post also came as no surprise because for sometime now, Karen Nyamu has not been seeing eye to eye with Edday Nderitu.
This is all because of Samidoh who went outside of his more than 10 year marriage to the latter, and actually cheated on her with the former.
Their relationship infact led to the birth of a son by the moniker Sam Muchoki Jr and if that wasn't enough, Karen Nyamu got involved again with the 'Mumbi' hit maker and she is now expecting his second child from him.

Meanwhile he has birthed 2 children with his wife Edday Nderitu.
