According to the latest popularity poll from Tifa, the deputy president William Ruto's UDA party popularity is more than the combination of all other parties in the country. According to the poll, UDA has 30 percent popularity with ODM 16 percent and Jubilee five percent. Wiper is third with just one percent.
The poll shows DP Ruto's UDA party is a national party for it has support across the county as opposed to Jubilee and the ODM party. Moving forward, the poll shows UDA is likely to attract more support than all this other parties based to the fact that it's a new party.
According to the poll, ODM and Jubilee parties combined lack a support base like the one enjoyed by UDA. The new party is more popular in Mt Kenya region as well in Rift Valley and the Coast region as well has a wide presence in western Kenya and Lower Eastern.
The poll however is clear party nominations will determine who actually wins in party popularity. It has made it clear that bungled nominations might affect party popularity for it's clear Kenyans want to associate more with the most popular party ahead of the 2022 general election.
