As many other candidates eyeing different seats in August promise to fulfill their pledges after getting into power, things are different to the Elgeyo Marakwet Gubernatorial Aspirant Hon. Wesley Rotich.
Rotich has kicked off his work even before the August election as one of the ways of improving the life's of his residents. As promised earlier that he will open a office that will connect the Elgeyo Marakwet young people to international opportunities, Rotich has today met with the Kalenjin Abroad member's led by their CEO Faith Maina, to explore how they can connect the young Elgeyo Marakwet residents to Authentic and legitimate scholarships, job and business opportunities around the world.
They have now decided to start a collaborative forums that will see them meeting with young people and educating them on how best take advantage of these opportunities.
"We have agreed to start joint forums to meet the young people to sensitise them on how they can easily access these opportunities," Rotich states.
And to make things easier, Rotich has advised his residents to obtain passports early so that whenever the opportunities emerges, they may quickly seize them.
"I advise those who have a such a dream to normalise acquiring a passport to make it easy when applying for any opportunity," Rotich adds.
