The presidential candidate representing the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance is yet to arrive to the Bomas for the presidential results declaration. In an earlier communication the IEBC had assured the press to be ready for the declaration at 3pm.
The arrival of the deputy president at exactly 3pm gave a hint of what is expected. This also gave hope that the event would take place as earlier arranged. However one hour later Raila Odinga has not arrived and the event is forced to delay much further.
This is the first time for Ruto to vie for the presidency and marks the fifth time Raila is vying for the same sear. Raila delay continue to shed a wide message of how different the 2022 election declaration is being done compared to the previous times.
Raila Odinga who is allegedly vying for the last time before he retire from active politics has been a veteran who has promised voters the need to redeem themselves from old fashioned politics. Why do you think Raila has delayed for the big announcement? Leave us a comment in the comment section below.
