Big Win For Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu

Former Kiambu Governor Hon Ferdinand Waititu was implicated in road tender to the tune of Ksh 588 million irregularly awarded to him. Following this Milimani Law court today dropped KSh 588 million case against Kiambu procurement team alongside Ferdinand Waititu.

According to the report Nairobi court dropped KSh 588 million against the Former Governor Ferdinand Waititu and Kiambu procurement team citing lack of sufficient evidence to sentence Ferdinand Waititu and his team. It is also reported that Ferdinand Waititu was charged alongside 12 orders of conspiring to irregularities award KSh 588 million road tender to proxy companies.

The action by the court allows Ferdinand Waititu to breathe as a sign of relief after a court dropped a KSh 588 graft suit against him.

Ferdinand Waititu who was impeached as Kiambu Governor has passed through difficulties as the court had frozen his properties and his vehicles pending the determination of a case filed by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

Following this Ferdinand Waititu have big win as his properties are released and he has become freed by court.
