Kasarani police station OCPD Mr Peter Mwanzo has been today promoted to the rank of County Police Commander by Dr Fred Matiang'i. This is after Matiang'i toured Nakuru county where cases of insecurities has been on the raise.
After promotion, Mwanzo has been immediately posted to the county of Nakuru to replace Beatrice Kiraguri.

Dr Fred Matiang'i together with Directorate of Criminal Investigation DCI George Kinoti visited Nakuru county after four women were murdered.
Cases of crime are on the raise in Nakuru county where police officers have already arrested more than 125 suspects and have discovered sophisticated weapons.
This moves also comes when Matiang'i promised no violence will be witnessed in the coming general election. Remember Nakuru was among the county which was marked as most likely to experience chaos after election.
