Wiper party humiliated in Makueni by election

Independent candidate Timothy Maneno won yesterday's Nguu/Masumba ward by-election in Makueni County beating UDA's Kivuva by almost 700 votes.WIPER's Eshio Mwaiwa lagged behind the leader by 1288 votes securing a very distant third. The OKA squad camped in Nguu Ward to campaign for wiper candidate only to come a distant third! This is a big blow to Kalonzo Musyoka who is seeking to be the presidential flag bearer of OKA alliance.

This has really exposed Musyoka on his failed attempt to consolidate his back yard.

Wiper party through its leader Kalonzo Musyoka went ahead to congratulate the winner Timothy Maneno and condemned the violence that was witnessed in parts of the ward.

Deputy president showed praises on his candidate who came second in a very tight race. This approves his quest to build a national party.

The deputy president quoted; “Congratulations Hon. Daniel Musau of the UDAKenya for the sterling performance at the just concluded Nguu/Masumba Ward by-election. Coming second in the tight race is a demonstration that we are breaking tribal barriers and establishing a new culture of issues-based politics.”
