Kenyans React To Raila's Tweet

Raila Odinga who is the leader of Azimio LA umoja today posted a photo of him being taken to jail during saba saba movement on his twitter page and wrote that As we commemorate Saba Saba, let us reflect on the long road traveled and what we've achieved in expanding the democratic space we enjoy. As we move forward, let's all play our part and vote for Azimio on August 9th as the nation turns blue. #Inawezekana.

Njau tweeted, "Heroes never recognize themselves, they and their efforts are recognized by the beneficiaries furthermore, they never struggle for a pay so if one has no such, he's not worthy calling himself a hero. That means that Kenyans know the real soldiers in the second liberation."

Kimstai tweeted, "Who told you that the presidency is a reward for the fight for democracy. Everybody know that you weren't alone in the fight. Many of those who fought 'genuinely' never demanded any reward. So tenda wema, nenda zako."

Vincent tweeted, "Emancipate yourself from the slavery of the past old man. As if you single handedly liberated this country. This is another century and we need sharp minds to liberate our economy #hustlerNation."

Kiptoiyot tweeted, "As we commemorate Saba Saba, let us reflect on nane nane, when I'll VOTE based on competency. They call Ruto supporters extremists just because we refuse to support the same old, corrupt and incompetent leaders. Extremism in pursuit of a better Kenya is a virtue and not a vice."
