The Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua was among the top leaders who chaired a meeting with the constitution team together with his boss Hon William Samoei Ruto. Among the leaders who were present were the Speaker of the National Assembly Hon Moses Wetangula, the Speaker of the Senate Hon. Amason Kingi and the Outgoing IEBC Chairman Mr Wafula Chebukati.
During his address, the second in command thanked the IEBC chairman Mr Wafula Chebukati for standing put to guard the constitution of Kenya and said that the only mistake that Hon. Wafula Chebukati did was his fear to tell the public how he was threatened to cook the presidential election results and he just did that after Ruto formed the government.
He Revealed that such narratives won't be tolerated in the near future and that is why they are working hard to better the constitution to guard the interest of the people.
