The leader of Maendeleo chap chap, Dr. Alfred Mutual has advised Wiper party leader honorable Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka to retire from active politics, speaking yesterday from Machakos county he said that his reasons for advising Kalonzo is because he had stayed in leadership for 36 years and Ukambani is still lagging behind in terms of infrastructures. Alfred Mutua is now working as the governor of Machakos county after winning in the last elections.
Governor Alfred Mutua stated yesterday while in Machakos that Stephen Kalonzo retiring from politics will be beneficial because it will give youths in Ukambani a chance to fill his gap in politics, Stephen Kalonzo has served Ukambani people diligently for the past years.
Mutua claimed yesterday that Stephen Kalonzo has used his position in Kenya has a politician to benefit only those who are close to him and his relatives, because he Ukambani has been left out in development projects while he is in power.
He stated yesterday that he respect Kalonzo very much as a man who has served Kenya for a very long time, but now he feels the Kalonzo should rest and let youths take control because, their people needs jobs, water, food and other basic things but the leadership of Kalonzo is not taking care of that as it should be.
