From the video uploaded by Mutembei TV, you could hear the second in command reveal that he has over 160 MPs in UDA Party as he drummed up for support ahead of 2022 election.
While revealing the number of MPs he has in UDA Party, Ruto added that the solution to perennial water and food problems in Katangi area of Yatta Constituency, lies in the building of Yatta Dam that will sustainably provide water for domestic and agricultural use as increased farm production will in turn improve farmers’ earnings, create employment, enhance food security and lower food prices in our country.
DP Ruto's sentiments sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans including,
@Rodgers Muhanji, "Kweli majigambo uko nayo but very soon utajua haujui wacha Bunge livunjwe ndipo mipango and we pray amicron covid19."
@Nicholas Mackenzie Nico, "Why don't they resign and seek re election in UDA Party."
@EdwinOchola Sihoho, "Ruto is a big lair he doesn't have even 100 MPs, he is just boasting for nothing."
