Drama ensued at the Nairobi County assembly after some irate members of the county assembly bared the police from arresting the speaker.
According to CitizenTVKe, the DCI cops had some hard time trying to arrest Speaker Mutura.
It has emerged that the police had an arrest warrant against the speaker for inappropriately acquiring a property.
Nevertheless, Mutura who spoke to the media said the incident was triggered by his current political position and stand.
Mutura has declared his unwavering support for the kenyan deputy president William Ruto, he said he was not being moved by intimidations.
Nevertheless, the famous speaker has said he was not going to loosen his stand on NMS calling it an illegal entity.
Mutura has decried witch hunt by recurrent leadership Alleging that some people are trying to intimidate him.
Lately, leaders allied to the deputy president William Ruto have been accusing the Uhuru led government of trying to intimidate leaders.
