Herman Manyora, a professor at the University of Nairobi, made the claim on his YouTube channel during an interview with journalist Jadiel Kabiro regarding the one issue that Raila Odinga, as a political leader, is currently dealing with.
Manyora was upset that Raila Odinga is allegedly trying to decide who gets what out of the Ksh 300 million that the Political Parties Fund (PPF) has allocated to the ODM, as well as distributing positions for the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC). Manyora has called these matters petty and has vowed that Baba must never get involved in them.
When asked if Raila Odinga was a tyrant, Manyora responded that he wasn't, but that his reputation was being tarnished because he has a great problem with listening to those under him who are following their own interests.
"A dictator is not Raila! The fact that Raila listens to those with self-interests hurts him "He asserted.
