Deputy President William Ruto has announced that he is the political supremo of Mt Kenya and no other presidential hopeful will go ahead of him to climb the region. Deputy President William Ruto who was addressing the rally in the Mt. Kenya region, told the residents to ignore One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals. His statement means that Mt. Kenya residents should not back up Musalia Mudavadi's presidential bid.
Deputy President William Ruto's statement comes after the One Kenya Alliance principals had a meeting with Mt Kenya Foundation (MKF ) team, where they discussed on matters of economy and 2022 succesion.
Deputy President William Ruto on his side dismissed the MKF meetings saying that he does not need an approval from the team to become the President.
Although this come as a blow to ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Musalia has made his stand that he will not support Raila Odinga nor Deputy President William Ruto.
