Honourable Raila Odinga and several political leaders within Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition on Tuesday held a rally in Siaya county.The former prime minister addressed the issue of postponing the Monday 20 protest and him having a handshake with president William Ruto.
Speaking during the rally in Siaya County, honourable Raila Odinga claimed that a group of the clergy through NCCK have appealed to him to postpone the Monday 20 protest.
Honourable Raila Odinga reacted by stating that the Monday protests are on and will not be postponed whatsoever.He claimed that the Azimio people agreed on having the protests because their ultimatum was ignored.He added that the protests will be very peaceful with no form of violence nor blood shed.
Raila Odinga stated that he does not want any form of handshake.He stated that he will not do the protests because of handshake but it is because it is the only alternative they have to get their rights back.
