The deputy president William Ruto has been campaigning on the platform of economic revolution as he seeks to inherit his boss president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Having fallen out with the head of state over irreconcilable differences, he defected from the rulling jubilee alliance party and formed United democratic alliance (UDA).
The new outfit has taken the country by storm emerging to be the most popular party according to recent opinion polls.
A number of jubilee party members had to follow the DP to UDA Leading to a mass Exodus leaving jubilee a pale Shadow of its former self.
Nevertheless, the president's party has been busy rebranding after the departure of the so called rebels.
Having thrown his weight behind the former prime minister Raila Odinga, the president is now busy seeking to have as many mps as possible in the next Parliament with him as the chairman of azimio coalition government.
A Photo doing rounds showing UDA Offices being Repainted with jubilee colors could be a sign that indeed jubilee is reclaiming the lost glory.
The Photo has elicited mixed reactions online with some Netizens like jaro soja opining that the mountain indeed is becoming slippery.
However others alleged that UDA has just moved the offices to another place adding that the party is still very strong on the ground.
Do you think UDA is still the party of the mountain and rift valley? Feel free to share your thoughts and comments on this on our comments platform.
