"Pilipili Usiyoila Yakuwashiani?" DP Ruto Slams Back At Uhuru After The President's Tongue-lashing.

UDA party leader and Kenya Kwanza's presidential candidate Deputy President William Samoei Ruto has in the recent days been facing opposition from every corner even as the race for the state house intensifies.

With barely forty days to go to the August 9th General Elections, the DP has been facing a tongue lash from not only his boss, president Uhuru Kenyatta but also from all and sundry who wouldn't want him to ascends to the country's top seat position.

It should be noted that the deputy president on the night of Thursday 29th June while unveiling Kenya Kwanza's Manifesto stated that one of the first things that he would do once he clinches the presidential position would be to form a judicial team to investigate president Uhuru Kenyatta and his leadership.

This statement however was not taken lightly by the president whom today on Saturday the 2nd of June while presiding over the celebration of this year's International Co-operation Day told off the deputy president stating that all he is doing is going around making noise as he gives Kenyans empty promises on what he would do once he becomes the president.

Ruto on the other hand could not keep quiet after this insult as he responded to the president's remarks during one of his political campaigns in the country today on Saturday July 2nd,2022. The DP told the president to keep off the campaigns and let him (the deputy president) battle it out with the Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga on a fair ground. This he said in a Kiswahili proverb that says, "Pilipili usiyoila yakuwashiani?" That is to mean that, (how does hot pepper that you don't eat affect you?)
