DP Ruto Hints Leaving Mantle for Kindiki

If the Kenya Kwanza administration secures two terms, Deputy President William Ruto has intimated that Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki would be his favored successor in the 2032 elections.

Ruto claimed that Kindiki has outgrown local politics and will be prepared to take over the top position in government within the next ten years during an Economic Forum meeting in Kathwana town, Tharaka Nithi County.

According to him, Kindiki ranks third among the coalition's leaders and is qualified to take the helm.

"Speaker Muturi, Gachagua, and I are the same age; in ten years, we will all be retiring. Professor Kindiki and others will be left in charge to carry on with the.

Ruto also pointed out that although Kindiki failed to secure the second most coveted spot in the Kenya Kwanza Brigade he is still in line as his political career has tended to national politics.

I told you that these guys had passed through the areas listed by the management and most of you were not happy about that. This guy missed the chance to deputize me.

Ruto's statement comes months after Kindiki said he would not run for office after the August 9 election, should the Kenya Kwanza Alliance form a government.
