Remaining less then 35 days to general elections, politicians eyeing different seats are employing different strategies in their campaigns in efforts to counter their rival's and win more hearts from the voter's.

Having analysed the past campaigns for the Kenya Kwanza and those for the Azimio-one Kenya Alliance, the Jubilee Party Vice-Chairman Hon. David Murathe now claims that Kenya Kwanza is copying the Azimio's campaigns strategies. According to Murathe, wherever the Azimio Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga goes, the Kenya Kwanza's presindential candidate DP William Ruto follows him.

"Baba was in Meru, he followed him there. Baba went to North Eastern...He is planning to visit the region," Murathe hints.

Murathe adds that the DP Ruto team is just playing catch up politicians and they do not have their own plans and strategies.

However on doing our spot check, we can confirm that Raila Odinga visited Meru before William Ruto took his Campaigns to Meru. Raila Odinga was in Meru on 18th June, 2022 and held a mega Rally at Kinoru Stadium. The Deputy President Dr William Ruto also took the campaigns to Meru since Saturday last week until yesterday Monday of 4th July, 2022.

Also, on 21st June, 2022, Raila took the Azimio campaigns to North Eastern i.e. he was in Isiolo. Sources also indicate that DP William Ruto will as from today take his campaigns to North Eastern. Sources Indicate that he will today be Isiolo County.
