Former prime minister Raila Odinga should reach out to some of his former allies who left his Orange Democratic Movement party to save the outfit from collapsing.
Political Analyst Dismus Mokua, has opined that Raila should understand that apart from his own brand, his party needs people who are experienced, with political resources, and can help in the running of the party.
According to him, those who surround the former prime minister currently are where they are because of him and do not have what it takes to keep a national party strong.
He named former Nairobi governor Dr Evans Kidero and Businessman Jimmi Wanjigi as individuals who have got the financial resources, influence, and all that is needed in running a vibrant national party.
He asked Raila to find away of reaching out to the two to prevent his party from collapsing. This comes amid infighting in the ODM with leaders fighting over leadership positions.
