Fresh twist over President Uhuru's succession as details emerge why the Head of State will not jet back to Nairobi after the Mashujaa day Celebrations hence expected to spend a few of his days at the Sagana State Lodge.
It has been established that President Uhuru Kenyatta even after the Mashujaa Day celebration he will not be leaving Kitinyaga County and that he will be expected to spend a few days in the County at his State apartment in Sagana.
According to sources within the Presidency, they have informed that after the Mashujaa Day celebrations the Head of State will not jet back to Nairobi as he will be sorting out some important issues within his backyard.
It has been affirmed that President Uhuru will be hosting a series of meeting in the Sagana State lodge to answer his people on some of the questions they have raised including his succession to separate facts from untruths.
The President is also expected during the Sagana meeting to clear the air about who the region should support in 2022 including giving the region a signal on who he has agreed on as his preferred successor.
“The President is committed to sorting out issues in his backyard. His people have raised a number of issues and he wants to separate facts from untruths by having a candid conversation with his people before giving them the signal on whom to support to succeed him,” said a source within the Presidency as quoted by the Standard.
