Raila Odinga has threatened to live his March 9, 2023 words by mobilizing and leading his supporters in what he dubbed as the mother of all protests to compel Kenya Kwanza leader William Ruto to relinquish power.
The veteran has vowed to lead anti-establishment demos for as long as it takes tills the doyen gives in to his demands. As the clock tickles towards March 20, 2023, Raila's mission to uproot Ruto administration might fail to see the light of the day for various reasons.
Rumors has it that the president Ruto has sought external help from Western countries among them United Kingdom and United States of America to call the firebrand to go slow on the government or risk ban.
Going by the fact that Ruto has the support from regional and international communities, he will literally receive their support in neutralizing and shattering Raila's plans.
Despite of Raila and Ruto maintaining hard stances in matters of holding a dialogue and a possible handshake, political and religious leaders have not tired to call and urge the aforenamed duo to solve their indifferences amicably.
Going by the effect of protests and go slow in the country's economy and social wellbeing, the two arch rivals might opt to put their differences aside by putting the country first.
Those close to president Ruto have time and again cited that unlike the former's predecessor who buckled under Raila pressure, the man from Sugoi is stead fast in his stance thus Jakom needs to forget about a dialogue leave alone a handshake.
