Just in: William Ruto Arrives At Bomas Of Kenya Ahead Of Announcement Of The President Elect

Finally, deputy president William Ruto has arrived at the Bomas of Kenya ahead of an announcement of the president elect of the republic of Kenya by independent electoral and boundaries commission (IEBC) chairperson Wafula Chebukati.

The declaration which will be issued shortly at the Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi county means that the deputy president comes after a contest that saw him have three rivals: Azimio la umoja One Kenya coalition party presidential candidate Raila Odinga, Roots party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah and presidential candidate Waihiga Mwaure.

The announcement will bring to an end several days of waiting and anxiousness where the country was patiently waiting to know who the next president of the republic would be following the conclusion of voting.

The announcement of country's top most seat shall come at a time when the nation faces difficult economic times. Both candidates have promised to revamp the economy, manage debt and ensure social justice. The president elect is expected to be sworn into office after fourteen days if no petition is filed at the Supreme court.
