Independent electoral boundaries commission vice chairperson Julian Cherera has resigned as the commission's vice chairperson after her duty was judged wrongly. According to Cherera, she did her duties diligently and that she worked hard to ensure the commission runs swiftly. However, her duties were judged wrongly and she could not help but to resign from her duties. 
The embattled officer has been accused of insubordination to the chairperson Wafula Chebukati in recent times. However,she has claimed that due to all the wrong accusations, it was better for her to step aside.
