A credible source of news NTV, took to their Facebook page to report "Waiguru: Nimetosha kuwa naibu rais wa Kenya" which loosely translates to, Waiguru says she is qualified enough to go for the Deputy President’s Seat in the 2022 Elections.
Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru said this in a video uploaded by NTV on their YouTube channel as shown on the screenshot below.
When NTV shared the news on their YouTube channel, Kenyans reacted on their comment section and below is what some of them said,
@Kobia, "Waigiru is someone with no conscience or shame 😬😬😬 Naturally, we expect her to be apologizing to Kenyans for NYS, and giving a roadmap of how to return back the loot. I get automatically irritated when I see her speaking like this 😬😬😬"
@Samuel, "And Kenyans are entertaining her nonsense. May we see the light on our way to poverty and being misused by politicians."
@Ian, "We can't elect you to loot the whole nation, just stick to Kirinyaga until they wake up"
@Passaris, "She will loot the whole budget the way she did with NYS money. She is supposed to be in jail"
