Former Nyeri town constituency member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu has reacted to Revelation by former Kieni constituency member of Parliament Kanini Kega that majority of the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Coalition Party members of Parliament never voted for him during the East African Legislative Assembly elections and his Declaration that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is their kingpin.
In an interview with a local Radio channel, the newly member of Parliament for EALA revealed that majority of those who voted for him were not from Azimio but the people he did not even know of, he wondered how Azimio would betray him despite his sacrifices.
He further declared that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is their kingpin who should be fully supported by leaders from the Mount Kenya Region especially after he rallied leaders to unite during the EALA Elections.
Ngunjiri Wambugu while reacting to this supported him and declared that as a region when it comes to unity, they will get United for the benefit of their region, he added that the few who never supported the United Democratic Alliance party are already switching camps.
"Even those of us who represent the 13% who refused a few months ago are united with the 87% who went yellow, when it comes to articulating and promoting the interests of our region. And we will do it unapologetically." He posted on his social media pages.
