Latest Opinion Poll Shows North Rift County Is Firmly Behind Azimio

With only 44 days until the August elections, lawmakers on both sides of the political divide are actively campaigning around the nation.

The Rift Valley region is said to be William Ruto's stronghold as vice president.

However, according to the most recent opinion survey conducted by H Mizani, several regional counties are up for grabs between the coalitions of Kenya Kwanza and Azimio Kenya.

In west Pokot county, Azimio has garnered a substantial harvest.

With a popularity rating of 52.66 percent, incumbent Governor Prof. John Lonyangapuo is in the lead, followed closely by former Governor Simon Kachapin (41.7 percent). Under the Kenya kwanza coalition, Simon Kachapin is vying for the UDA nomination.

with a popularity rating of 34.3 percent, Senate Majority Leader Samuel Pogisio is the most popular candidate for senator. Julius Murgor, his nearest rival from UDA, is lagging by 32.7%.

In the Pokot South Constituency, the vocal member of parliament, Hon. David Pkosing, who also supports Azimio, is in the lead.

Does West Pokot support Azimio, or was the poll manipulated?
