Raila Odinga arrived in Nyahururu town after the church service, bringing business to a halt as a large crowd gathered to welcome him to Laikipia county. The turnout seemed to surprise Raila, who stated that he had never seen such a large crowd in Nyahururu as he has today.
Raila has paid a visit to the region, a day after Deputy President Ruto paid a visit to the region, where he was greeted by a large audience.
Former Prime Minister Kenyatta has stated that Nyahururu is the start of his journey to 'climb Mt Kenya area' and bring unity to the region and the country.
