Joshua Kutuny, a Kenyan politician, is from the Great Rift Valley. He is the current Member of Parliament for the Cherengany Constituency. Kenya's ruling Jubilee Coalition party elected Hon. Joshua Kutuny to the National Assembly in the 2017 general elections. He is the Deputy Party Secretary General and an outspoken critic of the Deputy President, Dr. William Samoei Arap Ruto.
The undisputed frontrunners in the August presidential elections are Deputy President William Samoei Ruto, the presidential nominee of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, and Azimio-Oka coalition presidential candidate Hon Raila Odinga.
