The Deputy President Dr. William Ruto today took his 3rd day campaigns to Nyeri County with an aim of wooing the area residents to throw weight behind his 2022 presidential ambitions as he strives to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta. During his grand entry into Nyeri County, the second in command received a heroic while in company of top Tangatanga brigade Mps who hail from the area. The warm reception with over 4000 people allegedly escorting his motorcade during his grand entry. Many Bodaboda riders donned in UDA colours were also captured on camera chanting Ruto's name.
As it is evident from various photos shared by DP Ruto in his Facebook page, Ruto is a very loving and caring man as he was captured on camera having a sweet moment with a kid from one of the people who attended the rally. The man from Sugoi has mingled with many people young, old, rich and poor as he traverses the country to sell his bottom up economic model and Hustlers narrative to Kenyans.
The photos of Ruto holding young babies during political rallies have caused an online stir with many ODM crusaders accusing him of using kids for political mileage. According to the latest revelation from a top ODM insider and blogger Robert Alai, Ruto has been shaken by Raila's sporadic rise in fame through an opinion polls conducted recently and this has prompted him to do anything to win the hearts of Kenyans.
