Narok governor Patrick Ole Ntutu who is eying the same county's senatorial seat on the United Democratic Alliance party ticket has been thrown into mourning after the death of his mother Nataana Enole Ntutu.
According to the press statement released by Ntutu's campaign secretariat, his mother died on Wednesday morning at the Nairobi hospital while undergoing medication. Mama Nataana has passed on at 95 years old.
Ntutu has mourned his mother as sociable, hardworking, and a mentor to many. " The effort she has made in mentoring us, into great leaders and raising up some of successful children shall be dearly missed, She opened doors to her home to all the communities living in Narok" Read part of the statement
Following her demise, Ntutu's campaign secretariat has since suspended all his campaigns to give him room for mourning his mother.
"Due to this heart-wrenching experience, all campaigns remain suspended until burial and related activities are concluded." The secretariat concluded.
