How Raila Responded After He Was Heckled By Eldoret Residents During His Visit

Raila Odinga, the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement, visited the Rift Valley region and the town of Eldoret. Raila Odinga was joined by close friends and other political figures. Raila Odinga and his entourage were met with hostility by the locals. (Perceived to be supporters of the United Democratic Alliance).

A crowd of residents can be heard shouting UDA and hustler nation slogan chants in a video posted by a writer. Raila Odinga gave a speech to the residents.

Residents claim to be supporting Deputy President William Ruto in his bid for the presidency in 2022. They said they will vote for Ruto in the upcoming elections.

Despite the heckling, Raila Odinga continued to speak to the crowd attempting to increase the popularity of the ODM party. He went ahead to sell his manifestos for Azimio La Umoja and his presidential campaign in 2022.

"UDA! UDA! Hustler nation! Kura zetu zote ni za Deputy president William Ruto. Hapa tunasimama na Ruto hatutaki Raila", Said the residents.
