Dr William Samoe Ruto is one of the most famous and influential politicians in the republic of Kenya. He is the current deputy president of Kenya where he is serving as president Uhuru Kenyatta's assistant and currently, he is seeking to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta as the head of state come 2022. Due to this, the second in command have been going round the country trying to popularize his name ahead of this much awaited presidential election.
Now, today, Dp Ruto received a King like welcoming in the coastal region. This was during his visit to Mombasa County. As seen from the photos shared through his official facebook page, a very huge growth came out to usher in the country's second in command to Mombasa County which is known to be ODM's stronghold. As seen from the same photos, majority of the growth had worn yellow T-shirts accosted with his UDA party.
DP Ruto was accompanied by several leaders from the coastal region lead by hon Hassan Omar, Mohammed Jicho Pevu and Aisha Jumwa where they are trying to sell Dp Ruto's name to the coastal residents.
