According to the Head of Public Service and the Chairperson of the National Security Advisory Committee Dr Joseph K. Kinyua, he has confirmed that the nation is currently peaceful and secure. Therefore, they have lauded all Kenyans for the high sense of civic duty and for demonstrating tremendous patience as they were waiting for the declaration of the president elect.
The Advisory Committee has now congratulated the National Police Service and other security agencies for remarkable work done for maintaining law and order throughout election period.
Additionally, the National Advisory Committee has now said that the declaration of the presidential results opens a path for other constitution process for the transition going forward. The committee has promised Kenyans that they are currently working tirelessly to ensure that peace prevails in every part of the country.
Additionally, Kenyans have been asked to get back to business and their daily activities while continuing to build the nation since everything is currently in their control.
