The Meru Governor Hon. Kiraitu Murungi has come out to share his experience after contracting the Covid-19. Kiraitu has been hospitalized for quiet some time and now has decided to open up of what he went through that difficult period.
From the story obtained from Kenyans news platform, Kiraitu said during that period he was battling the deadly virus,his phone was full of SMS, email and all kind of get well messages from different people. This included the the family members , relatives friends and even his Political opponents.
"My phone was full of emails, SMS and WhatsApp get well messages from family, friends, workmates, political colleagues, and even from my political opponents. Corona had brought us together" Kiraitu said.
He added that this is where he learnt that when you are either sick dead it's the time you suddenly gain friends. Kiraitu also said that he actually learnt alot from his situation which he will carry it all the days of his life. He noted that life is more important than everything else citing that he suffered do much because he passed through stages of denial and decided to go for work while unwell.
He carried so many Political burden on his shoulder instead of concentrating with his health. He now promised himself to follow his heart without listening to what people say or do.
