Raila on Wednesday, 15 Sep 2021, toured Ngecha in Kiambu where he interacted with residents. Even though his presence in the county came on a working day, the Opposition Leader managed to attract a crowd.
However, the crowd was not that big, which has since turned out to be the source of debates on social media.
While some Kenyans lauded Raila for managing to pull out such a crowd on a working day, others are mocking him by saying the crowd was of an upcoming artist and not a powerful politician like him.
See what Kenyans said
Bee Rutto: People don't want to listen what you're saying. Maliza uende
Constant Kuta: Baba doesn't want so many people because of Corona. They have to observe the social distance.
Mutwiri Ntongai: When you see such a crowd during working hours you know we have a serious problem
Victormoses Tanui KE: The crowd you are collecting even the local artist can collect. Mganga you are going down politically
Richard Nyakayo: Those asking for a crowd are you not aware that Kikuyus are hard-working people Now @ their places of work
