Big Blow To Keter as DP Ruto's Top Allies Campaign Against Him Ahead of UDA Primaries

It will be a mountain to climb for Nandi Hills Constituency MP Alfred Keter in the upcoming United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party primaries that were postponed after the death of aspirant Wesley Kogo.

Deputy President William Ruto's top allies led by Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa asked residents to vote out the area legislator in the party's election. They accused the vocal politician of going against the party's norm.

Speaking during the burial of Wesley Kogo who died in a road accident in Kangemi, Barasa claimed that Keter loved money more than locals and was only looking to enrich himself rather than develop the area.

“Your legislator loves more money than his constituents. Even though he joined as recently, his faith is not at the same level as ours. When you go to the ballot box, kindly scrutinize him a lot,” he said.

The primaries are set to be held on April 19th and it will be one of the four Constituencies that were remaining.
