The Head of State signed and handed over the Instruments of City Conferment to Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui at the rehabilitated Nyayo Gardens.

The conferment of Nakuru to a City has been received differently by Kenyans who have expressed mixed thoughts on the move by the Head of State.

Presidential hopeful Musalia Mudavadi has reacted to the conferment congratulating the people of Nakuru County as well as the county government for working tirelessly to ensure the 4th City in Kenya is achieved.
