There is a storm in governor Zachary Okoth Obado's family after his wife Hellen Obado who is eying the Migori women representative seat on an independent ticket has declared that she supports Orange Democratic Movement party boss Raila Odinga's presidential bid.
Hellen who has been disassociating with her husband's way of politics has since released a campaign poster bearing Raila's logo a confirmation that she supports his presidential bid.
Hellen snubbed her husband's People's Development party and settled for independent ticket a move that left many talking.
Obado on his side supports deputy president William Ruto's presidential bid and was appointed to spearhead the campaigns in the Luo Nyanza region. He was elected on the Orange Democratic Movement party ticket but ditched the party for his PDP which sponsored him in 2013.
It will be interesting how the two will keep their family together with their differences in politics.
