Mr Gideon, who is reported to have declared interest in the top seat in 2022 General elections, visited his bedroom and charted with locals over the weekend on his political future.
Sources privy to this desk revealed that the Baringo County Senator received a divine endorsement for presidency from elders together with religious leaders.
“I am certain I will defeat all my competitors come 2022 elections if I get the support of the Kalenjin community.”
“My journey must start from home and I need your support.I will not let you down,” Gideon told the residents.
“We are well equipped to face our competitors come 2022. No retreat, no surrender,” he added.
The Baringo County Senator campaigns is seen by political analysts as away to bring down the influence of Deputy President William Ruto in the county where Ruto has been making tremendous rallies.
It said that the DP Ruto has visited Baringo County more than 10 times for almost one year commissioning development projects and his visits which have bored him fruits with many leaders allied to Gideon Moi, for instance the ex Eldama-Ravine legislator Musa Sirma together with many Members of the County Assembly (MCAs), which have joined DP Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
