Raila Odinga has received shocker news following what Azimio la Umoja Governors are planning to do. According to reports, Barasa who is the chairperson of the strategy meeting clarified that governors from Western Kenya arrived at a logical conclusion to work closely with the new administration, despite belonging to the opposition.

According to the first term governor, he had no ulterior motive since the resolution to work with the president was not his own agenda but that of the entire Western regional governors."My responsibility as governor of Kakamega is to ensure that there is a mutual collaboration with the national government," Barasa stated.

This statement has left Azimio la Umoja under tension because if the governors will be working together with president William Ruto then they might join William Ruto's Partu easily. The cracks in Azimio la Umoja seems to widen as time goes.
