Ruto allies are busy campaigning for the UDA party candidate in Kiambaa by-election. They are determined to ensure Mr John Wanjiku clinch the parliamentary seat that was left vacant after the death of an area MP who was elected through Jubilee Party. Jubilee Party has also candidate in this by-election that is scheduled on 15th July this year.
According to Ruto allies who are campaigning for John Wanjiku, their candidate is ahead by sixty percent followed by Jubilee Party candidate with thirty one percent.
Although they busy campaigning door to door, some of the electorates in Kiambaa Constituency are acting different. They are saying that they want to take money that is being given by Ruto camp. This is why large crowds have been experienced in many rallies that are being organized by UDA party candidate. At this rallies they are dishing out shirts and capes that are branded UDA party symbols.
However, some are using these donations badly. For instance, picture below shows a person who was given UDA party shirts. Instead of wearing them, he was seen using it to clean legs, shoes at the door place.
