Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto is trying as much as he can to consolidate the vote rich Mount Kenya Region on his side. Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto has been meeting delegates after delegates more so from the vote rich Mount Kenya Region in his Karen home which has of late become like his headquarters.
Today the Deputy President has leaders present when he received more than 350 United Democratic Alliance aspirants from Nyeri, Laikipia, Meru and Tharaka-Nithi Counties at the Karen Residence, Nairobi. Among those leaders present were Hon. Kimani Ichung'wa, Rigathi Gachagua, Mukami Wa Embu, Patrick Mariru, Halima Mucheke, George Murugara among others.
